We stayed at this place for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, with stunning views of the river and cliffs nearby. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay outstanding, treating us like family. The restaurant served amazing meals at reasonable prices. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The terrace provided a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. we highly recommend this hotel to our friends and would definitely return.

I loved this place. The women running it were funny, slightly odd, and kind. The rooms were really clean and wifi worked perfectly. The restaurant made excellent food and was well run. The chef seemed very sweet. We really needed a reliable solid good value hotel after many ups and downs in Portugal and this place fit the bill perfectly.

I always come back to this wonderful place. The friendly staff helped with my elderly parents. It has Wi-Fi, a bar/ lounge area, and a restaurant. Perfect for me. I'll be back for the weekend!

Pleasant location on edge of historic small town. Good restaurant at hotel, and an excellent breakfast to be had.
Inadequate lighting of rooms with prolific use of automatic switches. Torch is essential equipment if use of wardrobe proposed.

The hotel (staff, decoration etc) and the local food were very pleasing.
As told by our portuguese colleague, high price for a view of a stone wall (I think they put single travelers in those rooms facing the wall. Be warned!).

We stumbled upon a quaint hotel in a charming medieval town. The staff welcomed us warmly despite our language barriers. The rooms were cozy with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and modern lighting. We enjoyed delicious, local cuisine at the restaurant for a great value. The natural features around the hotel added to the experience.
The menu could benefit from more international options.

We had some language problems as the staff we dealt with had only limited English and we have only a smattering of Spanish. However, the warm and enthusiastic help we received when we checked in helped overcome these difficulties and I have fond memories of our all too brief stay (one night). I would definitely return if we were in the area.

The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about the surrounding area and things to do. The room was clean and well-decorated, and the location was convenient for exploring different parts of the region. We also enjoyed the local cuisine served at the restaurant, which had won numerous awards.
Our stay was marred by several negative aspects. Our room was noisy throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep.

Incredibly friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help, a fantastic restaurant serving delicious local food and a stunning terrace view over the valley. We also loved the modern yet rustic style of the building and the comfortable room with everything we needed.
The room was a little dark, but with so much to see and do in the surrounding towns and countryside, we didn't spend much time in there anyway. , while there were some beautiful views from the nearby miradores, we found the town itself a little quiet and lacking in atmosphere.
